Democracy doesn't defend itself.

Right now, in real time, the rights and freedoms that generations of Americans fought and died to protect are being dismantled — policy by policy, executive order by executive order, one unconstitutional action at a time. The free press is under attack. Immigrants are being rounded up without warrants. A war was started without a congressional vote. The Constitution is being treated as an obstacle rather than a foundation.

And here in Missouri, families are being torn apart.

Neighbors, parents, and workers are having their basic rights stripped away. Some have been taken from their communities without due process — left without protection, without support, and without a voice.

We are Citizens Against Tyranny Network — a nonpartisan coalition of Americans from Joplin, Missouri and beyond who looked at what is happening and decided that silence is not an option.

We are not a corporation. We are not a PAC. We are your neighbors, your friends, your fellow citizens. We organize. We educate. We show up. We speak out. We hold power accountable — regardless of party, regardless of who it makes uncomfortable.

And we cannot sit by while Missouri families are terrorized and silenced.

This work costs money. Not much. But something.
