Tyranny is Here in America – Modern Day Nuremberg Trials are Our Duty

America is at a crossroads. What many once dismissed as political theatrics or partisan bickering has evolved into a crisis of governance that threatens the very foundation of our democracy. Tyranny does not announce itself through military parades or speeches; it emerges slowly, behind closed doors, through abuses of power, manipulation of systems, and the erosion of rights, whether through government shutdowns, violent suppression of protests, or the weaponization of surveillance technologies, just as we have all witnessed in a short nine months. Citizens are being denied basic rights. Institutions are bending to personal power. The rule of law is under siege. This is not hypothetical.

This is now. Tyranny is here in America.

The Rise of Donold †®*mp and the Third-Term Threat

In his return to power, Donold †®*mp has repeatedly shown that his leadership is defined by divisiveness, not unity. In one of his most recent statements, he said: 'We can do things during the shutdown that are irreversible... cutting things they like.'¹ This threat, made on September 30, 2025, isn't just about partisan posturing. It is a weaponization of government against its citizens, and it reflects a broader strategy of manipulating systems for political and personal gain.

He reinforced his threatening lie:

“We could come up … we’ll probably have a shutdown … because one of the things they (Democrats) want to do is they want to give incredible Medicare, Cadillac, Cadillac Medicare to illegal immigrants.” ²

This is not only a lie, nor mere bravado. It is the playbook of a leader who treats governance as a tool for personal and partisan power. The shutdown, the manipulation of healthcare, and the delay of congressional processes are all evidence of a regime testing the limits of democratic norms.

Government Shutdown and the Assault on Healthcare

On October 1, 2025, the U.S. federal government officially shut down. The standoff was primarily over healthcare. Republicans, led by †®*mp, demanded a “clean” funding bill, while Democrats insisted on extending essential healthcare subsidies and preventing cuts to Medicaid. ³

Democratic leaders did not mince words. Representative Hakeem Jeffries declared:

“Donold †®*mp and Republicans have shut the government down because they do not want to provide healthcare to working-class Americans.” ⁴

Senator Mark Kelly added:

“This shutdown did not have to happen, but president †®*mp and republicans decided they would rather shut down the government than keep health premiums from spiking for millions of Americans.” ⁵

This standoff illustrates a chilling reality: government services and public welfare are now being weaponized against the citizens they are meant to protect. Healthcare is being used as leverage, and millions of Americans are caught in the crossfire. The regime’s deliberate targeting of healthcare coverage is not only politically motivated but is a direct threat to life, health, and security.

Supporters of the shutdowns claim they are necessary to protect the American workforce and cut wasteful spending. However, these tactics are not focused on the public good but on consolidating power. The millions affected by healthcare cuts are the most vulnerable, including working-class families who depend on these programs for survival. As healthcare becomes a bargaining chip in this political game, millions of Americans are facing uncertainty. Working-class families, veterans, and elderly citizens are caught in the crossfire, uncertain whether they will have access to the medications and treatments they depend on. This is not just a policy dispute. It is a matter of life and death for those who need these services most.

Propaganda and the War on Truth

Under †®*mp's leadership, propaganda has become a central tool of governance. The use of AI-generated videos mocking Democratic leaders was just one example of how the regime manipulates public perception. These videos, designed to undermine opponents with lies and distortions, are not mere entertainment. They are deliberate attacks on the truth. When the highest office in the land weaponizes misinformation to sway public opinion, the very integrity of democratic discourse is threatened. As Representative Hakeem Jeffries put it, "The next time you have something to say about me, do not cop out through a racist and fake AI video."²

The Vice President’s unserious and immature reaction contrasted with the moral outrage of the public:

“Oh, I think it is funny. We are having a good time.” — J.D. Vance⁸

Perhaps the most alarming aspect of this moment is the open use of force and symbolic violence against American citizens. On October 18, 2025, President Donold †®*mp posted an AI-generated video depicting himself wearing a crown, flying a fighter jet labeled “King †®*mp,” and dumping brown sludge—intended to represent feces—on peaceful protesters in Times Square participating in the No Kings movement.¹⁹ ²⁰ ²¹ ²² The video was accompanied by the song “Danger Zone,” used without permission, and drew immediate outrage across the nation and abroad.²³ ²⁴ Civil rights leaders, journalists, and political commentators condemned the video as an authoritarian gesture that mocks the suffering and voices of the people rather than addressing their grievances.²¹ ²²

This is not merely a crude or tasteless joke. It is a public display of contempt—a digital performance of domination. Veterans and children have already been tear-gassed. Protesters have been shot with rubber bullets. And now, the highest office in the land has resorted to depicting American citizens as targets of humiliation. The message is clear: dissent will be met not with dialogue, but with derision and repression.

These incidents are not isolated. They are part of a systematic pattern of intimidation. When a government mocks, silences, or assaults its own people—physically or symbolically—the signs of tyranny are unmistakable. The normalization of violence, whether in the streets or in digital propaganda, is a defining mark of authoritarian power.

Institutional Capture and the Delayed Swearing-In

Democracy in the United States is faltering in ways that are both subtle and deliberate. In Arizona, newly elected Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva has been prevented from being sworn in. The stated reason was procedural, yet the broader context reveals a calculated act of political obstruction. Grijalva was positioned to become the 218th signature on a petition to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, a decision that could have had far-reaching implications for those in power. ⁹

In effect, over 800,000 Arizonans are being denied representation, a direct violation of democratic principles. The blocking of a duly elected official from assuming office is not merely partisan maneuvering. It is an assault on the democratic process itself. When elected representatives are silenced, the people are silenced with them. This calculated denial of representation reveals the growing corrosion within the institutions that once safeguarded the republic.

Speaker Mike’s Little Johnson dismissed concerns with his usual remark: “The suggestions otherwise are totally absurd.” ¹⁰

Such acts of institutional capture are not isolated occurrences. They are part of a coordinated strategy to consolidate control and suppress opposition through administrative manipulation rather than open debate. Each time power is misused to delay, deny, or distort democratic outcomes, the rule of law erodes further.

This is the mechanism of tyranny at work: the quiet seizure of institutions, the normalization of manipulation, and the use of bureaucracy as a weapon against the will of the people. What begins as procedural delay ends as disenfranchisement. What begins as a political inconvenience becomes a structural injustice.

The delayed swearing-in of Representative Grijalva must be understood not as a bureaucratic delay but as a warning. When the machinery of government is used to silence elected voices, the path toward authoritarian rule is already being paved.

As institutions bend and the public grows weary of resistance, the state has begun to extend its control from the legislative chambers to the streets themselves. What follows institutional capture is the open demonstration of power. The government’s use of violence, both symbolic and physical, marks the next stage in the erosion of liberty.

Violence Against Citizens: From Symbol to Reality

Perhaps the most alarming expression of tyranny in our time is the open use of both symbolic and physical violence against American citizens. What once would have been unthinkable, an American president demeaning and attacking his own people, has become normalized in the digital age.

On October 18, 2025, President Donold †®*mp posted an AI-generated video depicting himself wearing a crown, flying a fighter jet labeled “King †®*mp,” and dumping brown sludge—intended to represent feces—on peaceful protesters in Times Square participating in the No Kings movement.²⁵ ²⁶ ²⁷ ²⁸ ²⁹ The video, set to Kenny Loggins’ “Danger Zone,” used without permission, drew immediate outrage across the nation and abroad. Civil rights leaders, journalists, and political commentators condemned it as an authoritarian display—a digital act of humiliation that mocked the American public rather than addressing their grievances.

This was not a joke, nor mere tasteless theatrics. It was a public declaration of contempt, a symbolic act of domination that reduces dissent to ridicule and citizens to targets of scorn. When the most powerful office in the world uses technology to simulate violence against its own people, it is not parody. It is a message: dissent will not be tolerated, and those who resist will be demeaned.

The symbolic violence of propaganda is now mirrored by physical violence in the streets. In the weeks following the video, IÇE and National Guard personnel deployed tear gas against protesters, including veterans, children, and families. ¹¹ Rubber bullets and other projectiles struck citizens in the face, causing serious injuries and blinding several individuals. ¹² Protesters and journalists attempting to document these abuses were detained or harassed.

These are not isolated incidents. They are coordinated tactics meant to enforce obedience and suppress dissent. The government has adopted the language of force, both visual and physical, as a tool of political control. When the state responds to peaceful protest with mockery, gas, and rubber bullets, the line between democracy and despotism disappears.

Veterans who once defended this country are being attacked in its streets. Children fleeing tear gas are caught in scenes that resemble those from foreign dictatorships, not the United States of America. Citizens who dare to film or question power are arrested or threatened. Fear has become a form of governance, and violence, whether digital or physical, Dhas become its language.

When propaganda glorifies domination and law enforcement enforces it with brutality, tyranny is no longer theoretical. It is lived. And it tells us, unmistakably, that the American government now uses both image and weapon to keep its people in line.

Expanded Section: Surveillance and Digital Intrusion

In addition to the physical violence and suppression of dissent, the †®*mp regime has authorized IÇE to deploy advanced surveillance technologies against American citizens. In September 2025, IÇE reactivated a $2 million contract with Israeli spyware vendor Paragon Solutions, granting the agency access to Graphite, a sophisticated spyware tool capable of infiltrating mobile phones, including encrypted applications like WhatsApp and Signal, and functioning as a listening device. ¹³ ¹⁴ ¹⁵ ¹⁶

Originally signed under the Biden administration in late 2024, the contract was paused for review due to concerns over compliance with an executive order limiting U.S. government use of foreign-made spyware. The hold was subsequently lifted, allowing IÇE to proceed with the deployment of this powerful surveillance technology. ¹³ ¹⁵

Civil rights groups and researchers are warning that Graphite could easily be misused. The spyware has already been found on the phones of journalists, migrant advocates, and even people connected to Pope Francis in Italy, raising serious concerns about privacy and government surveillance.¹⁷ ¹⁸ ¹⁶ Paragon Solutions, once seen as a more ethical alternative to the NSO Group, temporarily stopped working with Italian authorities after these problems came to light. Experts also caution that using foreign-made spyware can create security risks, because it could expose U.S. surveillance methods to other countries. ¹⁸ Lawmakers and privacy advocates are calling for Congress to closely monitor how this technology is used, since it threatens privacy, free speech, and transparency in government.

Beyond spyware, IÇE has used other surveillance tools. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has reported that IÇE has been buying and using large amounts of cell phone location data, sometimes without clear oversight. These practices raise questions about privacy and constitutional rights. IÇE has also used cell-site simulators, often called 'stingrays,' which act like cell towers to collect signals from nearby phones. These devices can track the location of individuals and gather data from all phones in the area. Reports suggest that IÇE has not always followed required rules or obtained court orders when using these tools.

The expansion of IÇE’s surveillance capabilities has sparked significant concern among civil-liberties organizations and lawmakers. The use of advanced spyware and unauthorized tracking methods challenges privacy rights and due-process protections. Critics argue that these actions represent a significant overreach by federal agencies and call for increased transparency and accountability.

Deportation Camps and the Profit Motive

As we move further into 2025, the practice of immigration detention in the United States remains deeply troubling, both in terms of its human cost and the growing financial incentives behind it. Detainees—immigrants, asylum seekers, and sometimes even U.S. citizens—are often held in detention centers, many of which are privately run, under contracts with IÇE. These facilities have become notorious for overcrowding, inadequate healthcare, and in some cases, the outright abuse of individuals who are detained for extended periods without trial.

The growing reliance on private prison companies like CoreCivic and GEO Group has significantly shaped the U.S. immigration detention system, making the financial profit from human suffering a key concern in today’s political landscape. These companies continue to earn millions of dollars every year from taxpayer-funded contracts. These contracts pay companies approximately $125 per day per detainee, with the financial model incentivizing the continued detention of individuals for as long as possible, often in substandard conditions.

Reports from 2025 investigations by organizations such as ProPublica, The Guardian, and The ACLU reveal that private contractors are not just managing detention facilities. They are actively lobbying for policies that would increase the number of detainees, including lobbying for more aggressive immigration enforcement. The financial relationship between private prison corporations and the government has led to a perverse incentive structure, where profits are tied to the sheer volume of detainees, not their treatment or well-being.

In fact, a 2025 report by the ACLU reveals that the number of people held in immigration detention centers in the United States has reached record levels under the Biden administration, a sharp contrast to the promises of reform when President Biden took office in 2021. More than 15,000 detainees remain in IÇE custody, with more than 50% of them held in privately operated facilities. The conditions in these centers remain dire, and over the past few years, deaths from medical neglect, poor sanitation, and violence have continued to rise. In 2025 alone, at least 70 deaths have been reported in IÇE detention facilities.

Deportations Without Due Process

One of the most alarming trends in recent years has been the rise in deportations without due process. The expedited removal process, designed to fast-track deportations, has been weaponized in such a way that many individuals, including U.S. citizens, are deported without a fair hearing or any legal recourse.

By 2025, these practices have escalated dramatically, with tens of thousands of people being removed from the U.S. each year without access to an immigration court. According to a 2025 report by Human Rights Watch, the use of expedited removal procedures has increased by 35% in the past two years, impacting not only undocumented immigrants but also green card holders, U.S. veterans, and other long-term residents.

Particularly troubling is the issue of wrongful deportations. An estimated 1,500 U.S. citizens were deported between 2023 and 2025, often without ever receiving a full hearing. In some cases, veterans of the U.S. military, who were promised citizenship for their service, have found themselves detained and deported despite their legal status. A 2025 case involving Jose Morales, a U.S. Navy veteran, sheds light on this issue. Despite being a U.S. citizen and having served in the military for over a decade, Morales was deported to Mexico after a routine check by IÇE. His case, alongside those of many others, highlights the growing disregard for due process in the immigration system.

The Disappearance of Detainees and Lack of Accountability

The issue of detainee disappearances continues to be a haunting reality in the immigration detention system. When facilities like Alligator Alcatraz, a notorious detention center that once housed thousands of immigrants, closed in 2024, the stories of those who were lost or disappeared during their detainment became increasingly difficult to track. Despite the closure of several other high-profile facilities, IÇE's lack of transparency means that detainees are still being transferred between facilities in ways that make it impossible for their families or lawyers to know their whereabouts.

In 2025, reports from Amnesty International indicate that hundreds of detainees remain unaccounted for, particularly after mass deportations. The fate of these individuals remains largely unknown, as IÇE and other federal agencies fail to keep track of the movement of detainees once they are deported, leaving many without any trace.

A particularly disturbing case emerged in 2025 involving Maria Garcia, a 35-year-old woman from Honduras who was detained in Texas and deported back to Central America despite her pending asylum application. Her family has been unable to contact her for nearly six months, and IÇE has refused to provide any updates. In a press release in early 2025, Human Rights Watch reported that hundreds of detainees who were deported under questionable circumstances have similarly disappeared, leaving no record of their whereabouts.

The Financial Impact of Detention

As of 2025, the financialization of the immigration detention system has continued to escalate, with private companies continuing to make massive profits off the detention of individuals. CoreCivic and GEO Group, two of the largest private prison companies, have reported record profits over the past three years, largely driven by long-term contracts with IÇE. These contracts, in many cases, have become perpetually renewed due to lobbying efforts by these companies, ensuring that the U.S. government continues to fund detention at the expense of human rights.

In 2025, a new investigation by ProPublica revealed that the U.S. government has paid over $4 billion to private prison companies over the past three years. This has been despite increasing evidence of human rights violations, including reports of overcrowding, lack of medical care, and poor mental health treatment in detention facilities. The rising death toll, with at least 90 detainees dying in 2025 alone, has led to growing public calls for reform. However, the continued influence of private prison corporations, who are heavily involved in political lobbying, means that meaningful change has been slow to materialize.

While advocates for reform push for the abolishment of private detention facilities, the financial incentive for maintaining this system remains strong. In 2025, these companies have expanded their reach, lobbying for tougher immigration enforcement policies that would increase the number of detainees held in their facilities, thereby further entrenching the profit-driven immigration system. By prioritizing profit over people, these corporations have become an engine of state-sponsored exploitation. Their bottom line grows as more immigrants and asylum seekers are detained, ensuring that the conditions in these centers are designed not for rehabilitation or justice but for cost-cutting and profitability. Reforming the detention system must include ending the use of private prison contractors, instituting independent oversight of IÇE, and ensuring that every detainee has access to legal representation. It is also imperative that we pass legislation that restores judicial oversight of deportations, ensuring that all people, regardless of immigration status, receive due process.

Election Integrity and Voter Suppression Tactics in 2025

The lead-up to the 2025 election has seen significant attempts to undermine the fairness and transparency of the electoral process, particularly through gerrymanderingvoter suppression, and the deployment of partisan poll watchers. These efforts are part of a broader strategy by. president Donold †®*mp and his allies to influence the outcome of the election in their favor, even at the cost of voter rights and electoral integrity.

Gerrymandering in 2025: A Continued Effort to Shape Districts

The gerrymandering of congressional districts continues to be one of the most concerning methods of undermining democracy in the United States. In 2025, state legislatures controlled by Republicans have taken bold steps to redraw district lines in ways that heavily favor †®*mp’s political objectives. OhioTexas, and North Carolina are among the states where partisan gerrymandering has been used to create unfair district maps, effectively diluting the voting power of minority communities and Democratic-leaning voters.

These efforts are not isolated incidents but part of a larger national strategy to ensure that the voting power of certain groups is suppressed. For instance, districts have been intentionally redrawn in such a way that predominantly Black or Latino areas are divided across multiple districts, rendering their votes less impactful. The impact of these redrawn maps is clear: they disproportionately benefit Republicans while minimizing the influence of Democratic voters, particularly those in urban areas. Such efforts have raised alarms among voting rights advocates, who argue that these tactics amount to voter disenfranchisement [30].

Voter Suppression and Partisan Poll Watchers

In addition to gerrymandering, †®*mp and his allies have engaged in aggressive tactics to suppress the vote directly, particularly in swing states and communities of color. In 2025, †®*mp has increased his use of partisan poll watchers: individuals sent by political campaigns or organizations to observe the voting process. While poll watching is a normal part of the electoral system, the tactics being employed in 2025 are far from neutral.

In California, Governor Gavin Newsom has raised concerns that †®*mp is attempting to rig the election by sending federal poll monitors into polling stations. Newsom specifically accused †®*mp of sending partisan observers to not only monitor but intimidate voters, especially in heavily Democratic districts. The presence of these monitors, often affiliated with †®*mp’s campaign or right-wing groups, has sparked fears of voter intimidation and interference, particularly in urban areas with large Latino, Black, and Asian populations. According to KQED (October 2023), Newsom argued that †®*mp’s poll-watching efforts are part of a broader strategy to undermine trust in the electoral process and to deter vulnerable communities from voting [31], including Texas, Missouri, and are also witnessing similar tactics. These states have already seen aggressive pushes for the expansion of poll-watching privileges for partisan groups, raising further concerns about voter suppression in key battleground states. The impact of these tactics is particularly concerning in areas where historically marginalized communities, such as Black, Latino, and Native American voters, are more likely to face intimidation and harassment at the polls [32].

In some cases, the presence of partisan poll watchers has led to disruptions at polling stations, with allegations of voters being challenged, questioned, or even physically intimidated. This is in direct violation of federal and state laws that guarantee the right to vote free from intimidation, yet enforcement of these protections remains weak in certain regions.

The Broader Impact on Voter Participation

These tactics are not without consequences. Voter suppression through gerrymandering, poll-watching, and other means has a direct impact on voter turnout and the overall integrity of the election. For example, when voters perceive that the election process is unfair or that they may face harassment at the polls, they are less likely to vote altogether. This results in lower participation rates, and a distorted reflection of public will. Furthermore, voters who do turn out may be subject to significant delays or disruptions, further discouraging participation.

As evidenced by recent developments, these suppression tactics are far from hypothetical. The 2025 election may see an unprecedented level of partisan interference, particularly as †®*mp’s allies work to control and manipulate the election process. The legal challenges surrounding these tactics, coupled with the heightened, mean that voter suppression could become one of the most significant issues affecting the election's legitimacy [33].

When We Thought It Could Not Get Worse

Earlier this year, many Americans told themselves that things could not possibly get this bad. Government dysfunction seemed distant. Partisan posturing appeared like theater rather than a precursor to real harm. Citizens thought that even if †®*mp returned to office, checks and balances would hold, elections would matter, and our institutions would act responsibly.

We were wrong.

The shutdown, the weaponization of healthcare, the propaganda campaigns, the delayed swearing-in of a duly elected representative, and the violent suppression of citizens with tear gas and rubber bullets are proof that underestimating this moment was a mistake. Veterans and children have been gassed. Protesters have been shot in the face. Institutions that were meant to prevent abuse have bent, turned, or looked the other way. What we thought was impossible has already arrived.

In a nation founded on the principle of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, we are witnessing the slow collapse of these ideals. The very freedoms that define America are being compromised, by the government itself. If we do not act now, the promises of justice and liberty will become hollow, and the nation we know will no longer exist. What will we tell our children when they ask why we did nothing while our freedoms disappeared? What excuse will we give when they ask why we allowed cruelty to become policy, and silence to become survival?

Remember this: tyranny does not announce itself with banners or fanfare. It creeps into our lives, and we only recognize its presence when it is already entrenched. This is why complacency is the greatest threat. Every delay in action, every excuse to remain passive, every shrug at abuse—these allow authoritarianism to expand. We must not repeat the mistake of underestimating the danger. The moment to act was yesterday. The moment to act is now.

Routine Calls to Action

The time for hesitation is over. Citizens must rise, speak out, and defend the principles upon which this nation was founded. Contact your representatives, organize at the local level, participate in peaceful protests, and demand accountability from every branch of government. Citizens must also amplify the truth, counter misinformation, and ensure that the narrative of tyranny is not left unchallenged. This is not an issue reserved for politicians or activists in Washington. This is our fight. Every email to a representative, every peaceful protest, every conversation you have can make a difference. Tyranny thrives when we stay silent, but it is defeated when we act, when we demand accountability, and when we refuse to let the truth be silenced.

This is also not a partisan issue. This is an American issue. When institutions fail, the people must act. If we do not resist, we risk the permanent loss of our freedoms. Every voice matters. Every action counts. Democracy is not a spectator sport. It is sustained by those who refuse to remain silent in the face of oppression. Every generation is judged by how it responds to injustice. Ours will be no different. When history looks back on this moment, it will not ask how comfortable we were. It will ask whether we stood up. Whether we defended truth when it was dangerous to do so. Whether we had the courage to act when silence was easier.

Tyranny is here in America. It is manifest in government shutdowns leveraged for political gain, in the weaponization of healthcare, in the manipulation of elected processes, in propaganda and lies from the highest office, and in the physical violence inflicted on citizens exercising their constitutional rights. We cannot pretend that this is distant, that this is unlikely, or that someone else will fix it. The responsibility falls on each of us.

Someday, when the record of this era is written, our children will not ask about our politics or our party. They will ask whether we were silent while others suffered, whether we accepted cruelty as normal, whether we chose comfort over conscience. History will not forgive passivity. The erosion of democracy is a step-by-step process, and every day of silence allows authoritarianism to strengthen. Remember the warnings of earlier this year, when complacency seemed reasonable, and act now with courage, determination, and resolve. The time to defend liberty is today.

It is in times like these that the greatest change occurs, not from complacency, but from courage. America’s past is one of resilience, and this moment will be no different. Together, we can rebuild the nation we know and restore the principles that have always defined us. One day, our children will inherit the nation we leave behind. Let it be one of liberty, not fear. Let them know that when tyranny rose, we did not look away.

I CALL UPON YOU…

A Call to Action: It Is Time to Hold Power Accountable

The time to act is now. The forces undermining democracy are not going to stop on their own. The status quo will continue to protect those in power unless we take a stand. We cannot afford to wait for someone else to act, for these attacks on democracy to subside on their own, or for a political leader to swoop in and save us. This is not just a call to action for our leaders; it is a call to the people, to the citizens of this country who care about the future of their children, the future of their freedoms, and the future of democracy itself.

The modern-day Nuremberg Trials are not a distant dream—they are a necessity. But they will only happen if we demand them. It is not enough to simply recognize the problem. We must organize, mobilize, and hold those in power accountable. This is a movement that starts with you. Here is how we can begin.

Step 1: Form the Coalition for Accountability

A modern-day Nuremberg trial requires a united front. It cannot happen without the active participation of civil society, human rights organizations, activists, and concerned citizens. We need to form an official Coalition for Accountability to push for these trials. This coalition should consist of:

  • Activists who are already involved in the fight for voting rights, election fairness, and anti-corruption efforts.

  • Legal experts who understand the importance of holding public figures accountable for crimes that undermine the public trust.

  • Media organizations willing to shine a spotlight on the need for a modern-day Nuremberg trial and keep the public informed about the movement’s progress.

  • Political leaders and lawmakers willing to stand up for the Constitution and the integrity of democracy.

This coalition must be broad, reaching across party lines and ideologies. The fight for democracy is not a partisan issue. It is a matter of principle: the integrity of our system of government and the trust we place in it. The Coalition for Accountability will serve as the foundation for gathering the necessary support, resources, and momentum to make these trials a reality.

Step 2: Demand a Congressional Hearing on Electoral Integrity

We must start by demanding a Congressional hearing focused on election integrity and voter suppression. This hearing should focus on the tactics currently being used to manipulate the electoral process, including gerrymandering, poll watchers, and voter disenfranchisement.

We can petition our lawmakers to hold these hearings, ensuring that victims of voter suppression and experts on election law are invited to testify. The goal of the hearing should be to shine a national spotlight on the ongoing violation of democratic principles and to create an official record of the harm being done to our electoral system.

By putting this issue in front of Congress, we ensure that it becomes part of the national discourse. Once the scale of these violations is made clear, the demand for accountability will become harder to ignore.

Step 3: Push for International Support and Pressure

Just as the Nuremberg Trials had international support and oversight, so too must we seek the international community's involvement. Democracy is a universal value, and no nation can thrive in isolation while undermining the rights of its citizens.

By calling on international organizations like the United Nations, Amnesty International, and human rights groups, we can draw attention to the global implications of a crumbling democracy in the United States. These groups can serve as both moral support and witnesses in ensuring that justice is carried out fairly.

Through global alliances, we can apply pressure on those in power, emphasizing that violations of human rights and electoral integrity will not be tolerated by the international community.

Step 4: Mobilize a Public Awareness Campaign

One of the most powerful tools in bringing about justice is public pressure. We must launch a nationwide campaign to raise awareness about the urgent need for a modern-day Nuremberg trial. This campaign should include:

  • Social media campaigns to raise awareness and create widespread discussion on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

  • Public protests and rallies in major cities to demonstrate to lawmakers that the people demand accountability. These rallies can serve as catalysts for action, drawing attention to the movement and building momentum.

  • Petitions to gather support for the Coalition for Accountability and demand Congressional hearings.

A well-organized public campaign will create the kind of pressure necessary to move the dial on political action. Through petitions, rallies, and media coverage, we can show that this issue is not just for the elites but is a democratic imperative that affects us all.

Step 5: Hold Those Responsible Accountable

Finally, the end goal is to hold those responsible for undermining democracy accountable. This will require a clear legal framework, perhaps starting with an independent commission or special prosecutor to investigate electoral misconduct. Through public hearings, grand juries, and ultimately trial proceedings, we will seek to hold those responsible accountable for their crimes against democracy.

As citizens, we have the right to demand accountability for those who betray the public trust. We must not allow powerful individuals to manipulate and destroy the democratic process for their own gain. They must be held to the highest standards of justice.

Step 6: Stand United for Democracy

This movement is about more than just holding individuals accountable. It is about standing united as a country, reaffirming that democracy is not just a form of government. It is the soul of our nation, and it is worth protecting at all costs.

Now is the time for action. It is time to demand that those who have attacked our democracy be held accountable for their actions. It is time to start the modern-day Nuremberg trials.

The Future Depends on Us

We will look back at this moment in history and ask ourselves: What did we do when democracy was under attack? Will we have stood up and demanded justice? Or will we have let these threats go unchallenged, allowing future generations to inherit a broken system? The time to act is now. We cannot afford to wait.

Support Targeted Missourians by ICE

Across Missouri, families are being torn apart. Neighbors, parents, and workers are having their basic rights stripped away. Some have even been kidnapped by ICE “agents,” taken from their communities, and left without protection or due process.
C.A.T.N. cannot sit by while Missouri families are terrorized and silenced. Your donation goes directly to support people in our state who have been targeted, helping with legal defense, emergency housing, family support, and community care.
Every dollar stays right here in Missouri.Together we can stand up for our neighbors, protect human rights, and make sure no one is left behind in the face of injustice.
Donate today to defend Missourians under attack.

Support Our Cause

Citizens Against Tyranny Network exists because our communities deserve better than authoritarian rule, corruption, and fear. We are building a movement that defends democracy, stands against fascism, and unites everyday people in the fight for justice and freedom.
Everything we do—every flyer, every rally, every action—comes straight out of our own pockets. We take no government money, no corporate funding, and no big grants. That means our work only survives when people like you step up to support it. Your donation allows us to:
Spread pro-democracy messages and truthful information
Organize community events and rallies against demagoguery
Build connections and solidarity across Missouri and beyond
Give people the tools and courage to resist tyranny together
We are powered by people, not corporations or political elites. Every single contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.
When you donate to C.A.T.N., you are fueling resistance. You are helping us fight for democracy and community, shoulder to shoulder, keeping us strong, independent, and people-powered.
Thank you for your consideration!
